Narda M. Jones is a nationally recognized technology, media, and telecommunications policy expert with more than two decades of leadership across the White House, the United States Senate, and the Federal Communications Commission. She most recently served as Chief of Staff to the FCC Chair, where she led agency-wide strategy on broadband, spectrum, emerging technologies, infrastructure deployment, and consumer protection. She previously served as Director of Legislative Affairs at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and as Senior Technology Policy Counsel on the Senate Commerce Committee, where she drafted and advanced major legislation, including the creation of the AI Office at OSTP.
Narda now leads Acacia Hill Strategies, a boutique advisory firm focused on broadband infrastructure, AI governance, spectrum policy, and strategic engagement across Congress, federal agencies, and state and local governments. She advises companies, coalitions, and nonprofits that are navigating complex regulatory landscapes and is a trusted strategic partner to executives, civil society leaders, and philanthropy.
Her expertise includes Senate and House lobbying, telecommunications and AI policy, merger review strategy, digital equity, universal service reform, and cross-border technology issues, including advising foreign governments on United States regulatory processes.
She is also a Senior Fellow at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, where she focuses on emerging technology, broadband access, and AI-driven economic opportunity.
